This is the third story I’ve done where a new character turns out to be someone else in disguise, so I think I’ll be retiring that schtick for a while.
NOTE: NEXT COMICS- FRIDAY, THEN SUNDAY, THEN NORMAL SCHEDULE HAVE A NICE DAY

Steve doesn’t exist (as far as we know, Alex could throw another twist at us), it was Eddie all along.
This entire arc is a reference to Inception. The first dream is when Kate finally finds a date. The 2nd dream is when they’re all on the plane (it’d explain less gravity). And the 3rd dream is when Kate becomes popular. Steve/Eddie is the kick to wake them all up, but Kate has already fallen into limbo (popularity).
