Aha! Kate is a lucid dreamer. I’d guess she doesn’t have a lot of experience, though, since it was quite a while between when she realized she was dreaming and when she took control of the dream. I’m now officially jealous, since this is something I have not yet been able to do. :-( But, good for her. :-)

For a while, I was able to activate lucidity if i was lucky. Nowadays it’s how I used to e, and I can barely remember dreams at all unless I’m lucky (or unlucky, in the case of the emotionally devastating ones).

On the other had, my subconscious can be a much better storyteller than I am, if it feels like having a cohesive narrative (which is pretty much only when I’ve got a dangerously high fever, as of this year).
