Hey, it’s a sequel to this thing! Last time, I drew Kate in the style of a bunch of different web cartoonists, and it went over pretty swimmingly. This time, I’m doing TV! The first nine are drawn in the style of a popular television animator of the recent past. Once again, there was no tracing or copy-pasting involved. I‘ll post HAVE POSTED an answer key in the comments later, but I have a feeling this one should be easier to figure out than the last. Enjoy!

I actually found the last one easier.
Futurama, Fairly Oddparents, (I have no idea, maybe like, Adventure Time or something?), Batman Animated, (No idea), King of the Hill?, (No idea), American Dad, South Park.
Oh, durr. Duff. The Simpsons, not Futurama.
I would say #1 is Simpson/Futurama. If it was Simpsons she would be yellow.
You are an excellent mimic. The “style of a popular television animator of the recent past,” eh? Well, I’m not sure if that is really accurate. The Simpsons’ character designs were based on Matt Groening’s original drawings, and he may have actually animated the original bumpers on the Tracy Ullman Show, but does that make him a TV animator? If not, I have no idea who actually did the animation on the Simpsons and I’m too lazy to look it up right now. So I am going to list the names of TV shows, instead, if I can’t remember peoples names off the top of my head.
1. The Simpsons (Matt Groening)
2. The Fairly Odd Parents (Butch Hartman)
3. Adventure Time (Pendleton Ward)
4. Batman: the Animated Adventures (Paul Dini)
5. (I should know this one. Gahhh!)
6. King of the Hill (Mike Judge)
7. John Kricfalusi
8. Seth MacFarlane
9. South Park
By the way, 3 and 9 are quite frightening. I wish you had done one in the style of Kim Possible.
I think BartK got most of em, but is #5 The Adventures of Flapjack?
5. Regular Show?
1. Futurama 2.fairly odd parents 3.adventure time 4. Batman animated series 5. Lizzie McGuire? 6. King of the Hill 7.Ren and Stimpy 8. American Dad 9. South park
#1 is clearly Futurama and not Simpsons despite the Duff logo ’cause she’s not yellow
Perhaps it’s meant to be a catch-all for Matt Groening.
If there’s a TV show that looks like the second one on the bottom, I must see it immediately!
I have to agree with Chris M, I got 9 on the last one, but only 3 or 4 here. Still, I’m very impressed with your mimicry!
Consensus among my friends (thanks to the “log” shirt) is that it must be John Kricfalusi, but I must say it doesn’t look like anything I’ve ever seen from John K.
I know #2 is from the animator that does Fairly Odd Parents. That one looks an awful lot like Vicky.
dont know which is hotter
Bark Said “4. Batman: the Animated Adventures (Paul Dini)”
Just wanted to clarify on number 4, you have it wrong. The style is that of Bruce Timm. Paul Dini was one of the writers for the show. And as far as I know Paul Dini doesn’t draw. Here is a link to an artbook for Bruce Timm’s art: http://www.amazon.com/Naughty-Nice-Good-Girl-Bruce/dp/1933865407/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1337221081&sr=8-1
When John Kricfalusi was said for seven, whom did the Ren and Stimpy Show, I was all like, “Ah yeah, I see it now.” That one, as well as four and five had stumped me. Though someone mentioned Regular Show for five, and I could see that. I’ve never seen the Batman cartoon, so I would have never guessed four.
# 4 could be Young Justice – seems to fit most of the DC animateds. Second from left bottom row has me stumped. Maybe something Warner Brothers?
OOOh! Number 4 could also be from Ben 10…..
The thing with #7 is that the style seems too anime-esque and the hair is much too detailed. I have a hard time believing John K would use five different shades for one person’s hair, unless it’s a still picture, and it doesn’t look like his stills, which would more likely be painted, or done in marker, or something — though his stills are far less recognizable than his cel animation style anyway, which would use simple color schemes out of necessity.
I think the others are pretty good, though!
I only “got” 1,2,3,6 and 9, but after looking at all the shirts, I figured out all but 5. I don’t want to come off sounding like a dick here, but the Bruce Timm style could use work.. I’ve seen every episode of every cartoon he’s worked on, and I couldn’t pick up that it was supposed to be him AT ALL.
I put “animators”, not “shows” in my description, because a few of these guys have more than one show, e.g. Groening, and there’s no difference in art style (except skin color, in that case). Anyway…

OKAY IT’S OVER YOU CAN LOOK NOW
As great as the one with Kate. Almost recognized all
(I watch too much cartoons as well it seems)
Great job!
No Totally Spies? Awwwww.
Now for the followup.
To the alt text: true the others are 4th wall mannequins drawn in by the author so there’s only 1 ‘chick’ here.
Of said others which would be the author’s and posters’ pick for future use (as a 4th wall sub -in, Penny’s beatstick, universe insertion, whatever) and why? #4, #8 here just for the crossovers.
I don’t recognize the tenth one…
@DuoMatrix: Thanks for the correction. I posted in too much of a hurry and pulled the wrong name out of my, err… hat.
