Some of the music choices were....regrettable. Okay very regrettable, and that really took away a lot. But the song at the funeral was fantastic. You can make an argument that the violence was over the top, but then you could read that as a symptom of how much the characters themselves enjoyed thrashing folks, they were pretty violent mofos who a case could be made took to thrashing criminals because he gave them an outlet to indulge their want of hurtings on people they could justify it against. No movie will ever really live up to Moore's vision, but Watchmen sure as hell came closer then V for Vendetta or the League did. God I talk a lot when drunk in the morning...
