I think part of the novelty is that my mom’s name is Penny, and she’s a writer for her company’s newsletter. Some days I swear mom has to have Penny’s ability to break the 4th wall to make her day work out right…
I LOVE Eddie`s face in the last panel.

In the first panel, when Penny walks in between the boys, why does it look like they where leaning on each others backs?

Ah, had to go back to part 8 to see what she was going on about and spotted the missing O in the title. Good one on that!
I’ve been enjoying your comic since I first stumbled across and would like to offer praise and adulations for making a pissy jack-ass like me laugh.
On to the whining: The joke in panel #3 would have flowed a little better if one of the “O’s” had been missing from the title.
