Big ol’ news- site redesign!

June 15, 2009

That’s right, kiddos, once again I will be redesigning the site, making it more aesthetically pleasing and functional for comic archiving services.  The big reason for this is that, in one week, I’ll be moving my hosting to the Rampage Network.  As a result, they’re helping me completely overhaul my site, making it easier on my end to manage, and also bringing some new features to you guys that’ll make it easier to navigate.  Oh, and don’t worry, the url and my email will remain the same.

Unfortunately, since this is a total overhaul from the ground up, it means that all of your comments up to this point will be deleted. :( I don’t want it to happen, especially since a lot of you have been so positive and supportive with your messages (Over a THOUSAND of them!!!!), but there’s really no way around it.  However, I will be setting up a brand new FORUM where you can discuss Out at Home to your heart’s content, as well as keeping some comment functionality on the new site.  More details will be posted when I make the switch next week.

One more bit of news- I’m stopping link exchanges- again.  I know, I’ve flip-flopped on this issue again, but as I’ve gotten more popular, it’s caused a lot of unnecessary drama with some people (who will remain nameless) that have contacted me.  This doesn’t mean I’m going to take away links I’ve already committed to- that’s dishonest and unfair, and I wouldn’t want it happening to me, so any links I already have are going to be kept.  I don’t mean to sound like a jerk, I just don’t think it’s worth the grief.

Anyway, keep reading and tune in Monday for the changes!
