So, uh, she just saw (since she can read through strips) her mother having sex with her best friend’s father, and her reaction is one of glee?
Penny is one odd girl.
DARN. I was hoping you’d make the mental anguish last…
I mean, there’s no way she can get over it by the next strip, right?
Even when the story arc ends, this will be a horrible little stain in the back of her mind, right?

(oh, and I love how you gave Penny an “Oh, you” family sitcom face in panel three; it contrasts perfectly with Kate’s horror)
Wow Penny is enjoying this more than she should, especially when Kate seems to be mind****ed.
Every single expression in this update is genius! I crack up every time I see that first panel!
Nick, she doesn’t see through everything all the time, she’s not God. She didn’t want to look at that strip and see it.
Penny’s powers are mysterious and mercurial, and change depending on certain conditions. Namely, whether or not it would ruin the plot. Actually, the only time she visited another strip was when she was completely smashed… I’m making that a rule now. The only way she can travel into the past is if she’s so drunk she can’t remember it.
And besides, the point here is that she’s gloating about her mother, who has been hounding her about not being so wild and crazy, being wild and crazy.
is is just me or did kate get a new nose again?
She might have a nose, but she doesnt have a right eye.
I thought that was Penny in the last strip.
I’m glad it’s slightly less creepy than what I thought it was.
