Guess what? I added two new pages to the site yesterday! You can go check ‘em up at the top of the front page there and see some brand-spankin’ new ways to support Out at Home, as well as a (currently small) gallery of fans’ work inspired by the strip.

I know I talked about t-shirts earlier, but due to school and stuff they probably won’t come into being until winter break.  In the meantime, you could buy a high-quality print and tape it to your T-shirt!  That’s even better, right?

Ok, so it isn’t the big news I thought I’d be giving you, mostly because some of my time tonight was dedicated to making my site not explode, but my twitter’s back on the page!  (On the left, a bit down) Go follow me an know exactly when comics go up, and if/when any delays happen.  You may also be interested in my poignant musings on life.

I meant to set up a system to sell prints of my strips, but that didn’t happen because none of the plugins for Wordpress’ WebComic theme seem to work for that puropse.  If anyone knows of some sort of solution, let me know.

Big News! The new OaH schedule will henceforth be Tue-Thurs-Sat instead of Mon-Wed-Fri.  I think this will work our better for me as far as my personal schedule, and should help me keep up my current comic rate during the school year.

Plus, every 3-day-a-week comic is Monday/Wednesday/Friday.  I’m tapping into a fresh market!  So if you or anyone you know is feeling down on a tuesday, you know where to go to get new content to cheer ‘em up!

Hey, everybody.  My scanner had problems, so comic midday tomorrow.

You could’ve known that TEN MINUTES SOONER had you subscribed to my Twitter account.  Yes, I know I don’t have the widget here on the website yet, but it’ll pop up soon.  But nonetheless I’d recommend subscribing because It’s more direct and immediate, and also because I feed on attention like a lamprey.

Hey, all. I’m here to tell you that Out at Home will be going on hiatus… sort of.  For the next two week, I’ll be running guest comics, sketchbook pages, and other stuff in lieu of Out at Home comics proper.  There are three reasons for this- 1. is so I will have a SUSPENSEFUL CLIFFHANGER ON FRIDAY OOOOOOOH! 2. is that I’ll be making the transition to a new, better computer over the next week or so, and 3, I have been looking into T-Shirt sales!  The break will give me time to decide which designs to move forward with and with which company to set up a store.

Also, I’m going to be visiting CONNECTICON on Friday! I don’t have a booth or anything to sell, but I’ll be floating around as a patron, so if anyone’s going, maybe I’ll bump into ya. OOPS I’M FLAT BROKE NEVERMIND : P

So that’s what’s goin’ on here for a while.  If anyone has ideas for what they want on a t-shirt, let me know in the comments for this post (and before you ask, I’m definitely making “music band”.

That’s right, people, I have an official Out at Home forum now.  Have something to talk about that you feel is too tangential or verbose to discuss in the comments box? well then head yourself on here and blab to your heart’s content. (There’s also a link in the top bar, for future reference)  I’ve started a few topics to get things going, but feel free to start new ones whenever you like.

You WILL need to register a username and password, and then confirm in your email.  If you’re at all familiar with forums, you know that this is standard procedure and the approval process is instantaneous.  Once you register, you can post in any of the other forums at rampagenetwork.com, so it’s like tens of registrations at once!  It works the other way, too, so if you’re registered for another comic’s forum on that site, it works for mine.

“Alex” was taken on the overreaching boards, so I go by Mr.Threeve o’er there.  Hope to be talkin’ soon.

That’s right!  Thom over at 515 comics hit me up for an interview about myself and Out at Home.  It’s the first I’ve ever done for the comic, and I think it came out okay, if a little rambly on my end. (Hey, I never get to talk about this stuff!)  Thanks a bunch to them for letting me do this.  My voice sounds weird because my microphone is terrible and we did it over AIM.

In other news, the donation button will be back at some point, I don’t know why it’s not showing up on the page.

Whoopdee doo, it’s the brand-new site and it’s… not finished.  Many of the bells and whistles I’m hoping to use with my brand new host have not been set up yet, so it may be a while before the forum is functional and the archive is working again.  Plus the site style needs some work… anyway, by the end of the week everything should be working fine.

The good news is all of your comments were kept!  Surprise!  (at least those made before the past 12 hours)
